Dr brown is one of the WORST doctors in lubbock if i could give a zero star review i would. my son was diagnosed with seizure disorder back in may 2024 and every time he would have a seizure instead of evaluating him he would just up his meds that obviously weren’t working. we ended up in the hospital as my son had about 30 seizures within 2 days and during that stay he did not ONCE come see or talk to me about my sons condition he only sent his residents and called what he was having not seizures but seizure related. we were then discharged while he was still having seizures and meds were just thrown at us to give him and we were basically told if he has an episode and falls that he’ll get back up no worries. we ended up at UMC for a second opinion, when we left the hospital he had 3 back to back seizures. umc finally diagnosed him with lennox gastaut syndrome after only 24 hours of monitoring when in the 2 days we were under dr browns care no diagnosis was given. he is awful and puts your children’s health at risk.

I have seen Dr. Brown for my son Jay since his first seizure in 2019. He has always been very thorough and very informative. He was seizure free and was able to wean off of his seizure meds. Jay had another seizure yesterday, so we'll be seeing the Dr again. I felt reassured that Jay was in good hands when the ER doctor said that he spoke to Dr Brown and received instructions of what to give my son. I appreciate him and his staff for all they have done.

My son was diagnosed with Narcolepsy. And finally got the meds he needed and also was taken off of meds he did not need thanks to Dr Brown. We had seen numerous doctors and ended up in the hospital for 3 years before seeing Dr Brown!! We are very thankful for him and his staff doing such a good job and caring so much for us!

My daughter was diagnosed by Dr. Brown in 2007 with epilepsy. He treated her for 4 years and got her seizure free. 10 years later as a teen she began to have seizures again. He refused to even see her to diagnose. Said sight unseen that it's psychological and take her to counseling.
Unbelievable!!
Filing a formal complaint with Texas Medical Board with a second diagnosis from Texas Child Neurology with videos and medical witnesses and yes it's epilepsy...surprise.
This guy is dangerous. Go anywhere but to this quack!!

If you have a child needing to be seen by a pediatric neurologist I would definitely recommend driving to Dallas or anywhere else other than this office. Our son has an unknown sleep disorder and as part of the investigative portion of the diagnosis we needed to see a pediatric neurologist to eliminate the possibility of a neurological disorder .. almost immediately after requesting an eeg this doctor mentioned that “there is nothing wrong with our son” and when the testing had begun he mentioned that he has seen “a lot of parents come through his office looking for Valium” insinuating that we were looking for drugs so I immediately had the nurses remove the eeg equipment and found help at the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. We received more help in one visit than wasting several visits in this area. Please note ...I have left this review previously, but apparently they wipe out negative reviews therefore, I will keep looking to update this post or reposting in hopes that it might help someone make an informed decision before seeing this doctor.

Staff are the most rudest people I have ever dealt with in medical field. We were referred by our pediatrician, after one phone conversation and showing up to our first appointment we walked out and will never be back. All those people who work in front should be fired!!
