After pulling over to gas up at QT, I spotted this place and I'm glad I did! The oxtails were great and the cabbage was better than expected. Service was excellent, almost felt like family. I look forward to returning!

This is so disappointing. Was supposed to be a veggie patty. It was completely stale - just some frozen mixed vegetables stuck to one wall of the patty. Completely dried out. Callaloo too salty, and ackee was all broke up and didn’t taste fresh. Rice and peas are good, but they didn’t give us much. The portions otherwise was good. However, only thing edible was the rice and peas - we spent $47 - feel like it was a waste. I was hopeful this would be our go-to spot.

This place is like the 1st & 15th, they never miss! If you love ox tails this is for you. The food is well seasoned, hot, and the portions are big. When I’m in Dallas I’m looking for them in the day time with a flashlight.

I ordered the rice and peas with curry tilapia meal with vegetables on the side and when I received my meal through DoorDash, it was hot and delivered with care. However, the taste of the food was not what I expected because the entire meal was salty and I can tell that it was the fish that was over salted, but because the fish laid over the top of the rice it actually made the rice very salty as well

Everything arrived hot oxtails rice and peas were delicious cabbage just didn't have any seasoning at all so you just have to add your own fish had great seasoning breading just wouldn't stay on some parts as you can see in the Pic and the fries were ok but I'll definitely recommend the oxtails and rice above everything else

Ordered T of J delivery from Uber Eats, and I'm happy I did! The jerk chicken (small) was delicious, and the heat/spice made it all the better. I added an additional side of curry mashed potatoes, and I am impressed. I'll definitely order from here again!

Taste of Jamaica is my go-to spot for Caribbean food. I discovered them a year ago and have been hooked ever since. I’ve been able to have their Jerk oxtails, chicken & curry salmon with all of their sides, meat patties and natural drinks. All of it taste great and they give you plenty. Each time I’ve been it’s always been amazing.

I've been here 4 times, and each time the customer service is terrible, I mean horrendous. They are rude, not personable, with terrible communication. This last time I called my order in and when I get there they forgot to make my oxtails jerk and she tried to blame me saying I didn't remind her of my order when I came in to pick up. Why is it my responsibility to tell her how to do her job!! The food is hit or miss. Two out of the 4 times I've came here the food was horrible. I usually get jerk chicken and oxtails. Although the service was bad this time, the food was actually really good. I got medium oxtails and they gave me about 5, it is a lot of food, you can definitely share between 2 people! Their beef patties are also good and they use a lot of minced beef. The other reviews are spot on, the jerk chicken is indeed BURNT. Not charred, BURNT. It was clearly cooked way too long. The few pieces that weren't burnt were pretty good, especially with their jerk sauce. I'm confused why they promote Cabbage as a side, but it's really a small scoop of Cabbage with a ton of broccoli, peas, corn carrots, and squash. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS! Cabbage is inexpensive, so there is no reason why yall are mixing veggies. Call it a mixed veggie side if that's the case! Either my body didn't agree with the food, or they have sanitation issues because I was sick the next day, very sick. If it wasn't for their horrible service I do believe they would be rated higher.
