During recent ice storm of 2025 in Peterborough, my small generator would run but not produce electricity. We were 3 days (of a total of 5) with no power, freezer was thawing, no fridge, limited heat. Crowder Repair rebuild my generator in 4 hours. We are indebted to the son for working on it until done. It seems when times are the worst, others step up with the best. Thank you.

Had my Ridgid drill fixed here. Was a bit lengthy due to the parts coming from the U.S. , but overall, it was very good.

Took a fan in to be repaired, waited 2 weeks for a call back, and nothing. Went in to see what the problem was, he told me he hadn't even looked at it as of yet, points to the mess of the shop and says "everything you see needs to be repaired". Asked him if he figured another 2 weeks would be enough time to get it fixed. He said yea maybe" left the shop and set a reminder for 2 weeks.

Today when I went in I asked if he had a chance to take a look at it. He said nope, and pointed to the mess of the shop and said all of these are needing to be fixed. I said wow looks like you need to hire some help. He told me he would never, as you can't find good workers. I said okay but you have had this fan over a month. His response was , "well it could be 2" I asked him okay what is a realistic time in when you can get this fixed. He told me he has no idea, I asked does make sense to take it somewhere else then. He said you could but good luck, it's suppose to be hot next week you may need the fan. I told him exactly but it doesn't seem to be getting fixed here, and I picked up my fan and left.

This business has zero urgency to get things repaired, both times I went in he was just sitting at his desk, I have never seen him even working on anything. He just keeps accepting more repairs when he can't even finish the repairs he has infront of him.

I would avoid this business unless you would like a rude experience and then not even get your item repaired.

If I could give this business a 0 star review I would
AVOID THIS BUSINESS at all costs . Unless you have a life time to wait for your item to be repaired. I think this gentleman has forgot he is in the customer service industry at some point.

Shop is an absolute disaster, for one thing. I don’t know how you could get anything done in a mess like that. The real issue I had though was they charged an “administration fee” for a Rigid lifetime warranty repair when I picked the tool up, which they implied was from Rigid. I called Rigid directly to confirm, but was told this was not the case. They are supposed to collect a diagnostic fee when you drop the tool off, which is fully refunded if all the required work is done under the warranty. This is not what happened at all, so it looks to me like these guys are just levying this fee for themselves. I’ll be taking my Rigid tools somewhere else in future.

Great guys very helpful at first charged me $420. for a starter that did not fit. told me they would rebuild the old one that needed a internal solenoid. never happened lost a season with the excavator. went to burnies in Newmarket and john had me running in 2 days for $300 now that is a greater guy. never got my money back from Rodger at crowder yet? just saying
