I never had a major surgery in my 58 years. However both knees were in bad shape from my labor job. I just completed my first knee in November of 2024. My other is in February of 2025. My knee feels good at 7 weeks post surgery, in fact I never had any severe pain after surgery. Almost finished w my PT. Only challenge is going downstairs step after step. Looking forward to getting the other done and hopefully being pain free and being active again. Thanks Dr. Scott and crew, and thanks Rob Rice at PT for the support and encouragement to getting me to this point

Dr. Scott is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He has operated on my husband's knees over the years. Most recently on his left knee that had lasted 15 years and required a knee revision surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. David Scott for knee replacement surgery. He is so dedicated to make you feel comfortable about your surgery. Dr. Scott makes sure you understand the whole process. Encourages questions.
I would definitely recommend using Rob Rice for physical therapy.

I was scared to death of this new surgery, but Dr Scott was so confident and reassuring that I felt comfortable with him. Surgery went well and I received excellent care. Of course there was a lot of pain at first, but at two weeks post opp at physical therapy I blew their minds when I walked normally! Pt said they'd never seen anyone make such fast progress. I'm 64 but I've always been tough and determined and I did all exercises religiously! At 4 weeks I was able to ride the resistance bike and go upstairs with just a bit of discomfort. Going downstairs is still a challenge at 6 weeks but I'm pleased with my progress going upstairs. Honestly it's so nice not to have that horrible knee pain all the time! It was destroying my life. I'm very happy now...FYI I take care of my 84 year old mother who lives downstairs in our house. She has a nice 2 bedroom apartment downstairs but it's 14 steps each way, and I'm constantly going up and down! I totally recommend Dr. Scott, his skills are amazing 👍👍

I had a total hip Arthroplasty as an outpatient at Pleasant View Surgery center. The experience was great. Staff were amazing and despite a crack in my femur, my hip feels amazing now that I'm healed. Dr. Scott is excellent and listens to his patients concerns and is a skilled surgeon. I highly recommend him and his staff. Also, his PA Allison is excellent.

We moved from Texas, where I began my long journey of repairing my knee. After three surgeries and many shots, I could hardly walk. Dr Scott was recommended by my insurance due to having good reviews. When I saw the doctor, I agreed at once I needed a knee replacement. Dr Scott pointed out the issues with my knee from the X-rays. It was clear what I had to do. Thank God for Dr Scott. I work out all the time now and go for long walks. I have my life back. Thank you Dr Scott

I first went to Dr.Scott in 2007. He replaced my left hip at that time. The surgery went well with no complications. When my right hip deteriorated in 2018 I returned to him to have it replaced. He used a different approach (anterior rather than posterior) and this time the recovery time was even faster with less restrictions. Dr. Scott explains things well and willingly answers any questions you may have. The nurse who cared for me after my last surgery told me Dr. Scott has the best record in the hospital for preventing after surgery infection. I've been most pleased with his care and would recommend him to anybody needing orthopedic care.
