He's nice but his care quality has gone downhill. If your neurological issue is complicated and need a doctor that will take charge in helping you- This doctor is not that doctor.

He'll need a lot of direction, and you won't feel as though he's covering all the bases.

Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. Unstoppable compassion, incredibly capable, integrity, and put me first always. Great empathy. I don't think I could have gone through my Epilepsy struggles without him! He should teach all doctors bedside manners and altruism. I cannot say enough about Dr. Tovar!

Dr.Diego Tovar is by far the best epilepsy doctor I have ever seen. I am completely confident in Dr.Tovar's ability to safely control my Epilepsy. I was having seizures every 1-2 weeks and Dr.Tovar has reduced my seizures to 1 every 4-6 months, almost completely healed or extremely well managed. Very easy to communicate with, and very knowledgeable. Super easy to get appointment with. Truly cares about you and can heal your epilepsy too.

Good office staff. Really nice to me. Polite. Never annoyed or bored of me no matter how many times I call or how many messages I send. I always need something, it’s my personality. And man oh man, are they like family.

With doctors you don’t get to pick their personality. Bedside manner is important. He’s good. Definitely a five star situation. I don’t always agree with him but he’s nice to me and I have improved. He tells me what’s hard to hear and I tell him what I can and can’t manage to do.

I’m getting better. And I don’t have a simple case either. Stuff has failed for me and I am still working everyday but he’s there for me. He helps me. I am finally getting back to my life again. Not everyone can get those results of course but I didn’t think I would either.

I feel pretty good after each appointment. I’d send my mom to him in other words of that makes it clearer. Best wishes to you and your families health. Good luck. Go see them!

Update: I had two life threatening reactions to epilepsy drugs but Dr Tovar is leading me to do what is best for me. I’m feeling hope for the first time in five years and he doesn’t tell me what to do. He lets me decide and then he supports me. Why don’t they make doctors like this anymore?
