I was referred to this surgeon for a major shoulder injury. When I first received a call from them I was surprised that their first available appointment was nearly 2 weeks away but I still scheduled the appointment, as I was driving and could not take down the information I asked them to call me with a reminder a few days before the appointment and they agreed. After a few weeks had gone by with no call I decided to called the office to see when the appointment was. I was told by a very rude woman that I missed the appointment and that I would have to wait another few weeks for an appointment. I would have at least expected a call after I missed the appointment so that they could reschedule me as soon as possible. After waiting another few weeks for an appointment I left my vacation in Orlando a day early to attend. Just 30 minutes before my appointment I receive a call telling me that the doctor left early for the day and that I would have to reschedule again. This office is completely disrespectful and has no respect for customers time. I have found a new surgeon that has much better customer service and that doesn’t require me to run around town getting documents and medical records that most doctor offices would request for you to save the customer the hassle. Stay away at any cost.

This place is absolutely atrocious. Called ahead because I was pretty sure I had torn something in my knee and they said they could get me in at 12. I showed up and proceeded to wait for TWO FULL HOURS until the front desk agent told me the doctor was backed up and needed me to come back at 3:30pm. I was the only person in the lobby and during this time period I watched four bags of Olive Garden get delivered to the workers. I understand people needing to eat their lunch but this was after an hour of me waiting in the lobby. The whole time I’m sitting there breaking a fever with chills and the doctors more worried about eating soggy breadsticks than making sure I don’t have a clot. I also heard the front desk agent on the phone loudly telling someone about all their injuries and saying their name and medical information. You would think that breaks some sort of HIPPA laws. Just total negligence on the staff and doctors part. I ended up googling for another office and Florida Orthopaedic Institute was 10 minutes away and they were absolutely fantastic. Got me back within 30 minutes of me walking through the door (did not call ahead) and got me the medical care I needed . Please do not waste your time visiting this doctors office. I can only imagine how awful the doctors medical care would be.

This is the best doctor I have ever had. I have been to him for several orthopedic related issues. But on one particular occasion, I developed a very serious leg infection. My primary care doctor could not, or would not, squeeze me in. My leg was swollen and hot to the touch. He suggested I go immediately to the hospital. I was on the way to the hospital (and on the way to a HUGE bill) when I took a chance and stopped into Orthopedic Center of Brandon. To my surprise the doctor saw me at once. His staff could have easily turned me away, but they didn't. The doctor saw me and treated me. His treatment reflected the serious nature of the infection. MRI of the leg. Ultrasound of leg. Blood testing and an immediate prescription for 2 strong antibiotics. He also put me out on short term disability from work and his EXCELLENT staff handled all the paperwork! This doctor is top notch. A big thank you to Dr. Fiore and his staff.

I have gone to see him a few times for my shoulder which I am scheduled to get surgery soon.. I have never had a problem with anyone there. Everyone has always been nice.. Yes, Dr. Fiore comes in and asks a bunch of questions then talks into a recorder for his transcriptionist .. but he is good.. He knows his business and does a great job.. I am looking forward to getting rid of this pain in my shoulder.

I have had many bad experiences with medical professionals in my 51 years and never thought to openly complain, today is the first. I hurt my back in a work motor vehicle accident, contacted Orthopedic Center of Brandon for back pain. I contacted the office for an appointment and told them I had a workers comp. Injury. They made the appointment and stated that I would need to bring any MRI images I received from the hospital,which I did. On my first visit they asked for several other pieces of info such as care notes from previous doctors and first notice of injury, I explained to them that I was not told to bring those pieces of information for which they said sorry we cannot see you and reschdueled me for the following week. On the following appointment I verified that I had all of the requested info and proceeded to check in at the reception desk. They then asked me if I had a copy of the police report for the motor vehicle accident, for which I said no you did not request that info nor did I think to get the report. They stated that once again I would have to reschedule my appointment and bring the police report. I of course will not reschedule with this doctor, if his practice is this inept before I can even see him I am afraid of the quality of the medical Care I will relieve.

I love the office very direct and to the point. No fluff! They explain the plain hard facts, then records every single word discussed. More Doctors should follow his lead, there would be a whole lot less law suits in medicine.

This place is awful.the lady at the front desk is rude.the wait times r AWFUL!!!! I was there for a specific pain in knee and that issue was never addressed.the doctor found another issue that he focused on and my knee is worse now then when I first went to him.i stayed there for three months because I had to and as soo as I was able to switch I had my records sent to me and found another orthopaedic doctor that actually listened to my issue and he is focusing on that.if u r thinking of going to see these ppl think again!!!
