Dr. Breytenbach found that I was pre-diabetic, which I didn't know. If I had not gone to him and taken the proper tests, I would not have known about it, and probably become diabetic, with many possible negative consequences. The problem was corrected with very modest changes in my diet. He also found that I had a slight vitamin D deficiency, which was corrected with daily tablets. He is very pro-active regarding my health, and is always looking for ways to improve it, and avoid problems before they start.

Dr. Breytenbach has been my GP for almost 2 decades and is my MDVIP doc for 2 years. I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Breytenbach’s responsiveness to any and all of my concerns. He has always rapidly responded to my questions, sent either by FAX or to his personal phone. Regarding a recent bought with some complex symptoms, he rapidly ordered various blood tests, an X-ray, a CT scan, and enlisted the support of a lung specialist to assist in the diagnosis. A PET scan was quickly ordered and I was diagnosed with Valley Fever which was preferred over the alternate possible diagnosis of lung cancer. How quickly the tests were ordered, performed, and results provided was very much appreciated by me because long waits with uncertain medical outcomes can weigh heavily on me.
