I have been waiting for 4-5 months for my first appointment. Within those few months, I was contacted at least 3 times (minimal) to “‘reschedule, “ my appointment. Finally, after months, today was when my appointment was supposed to be. I receive a phone call saying my appointment is canceled.
Due to the complete lack of professionalism, (office wise) I will never have a chance to see this doctor. Upon asking for a reason, as to why my appointment was canceled I was told “Shelly just told me to cancel your appointment.”
Unbelievable how this office is running! I have waited & waited, again & again, only to be rescheduled and now cancelled. I would NEVER even consider using this office! EVER! SOO unprofessional!!!

All Dr. Staffetti did was interrogate me repeatedly about using IV drugs that I've never used in my life, because he was too incompetent to figure out why I had elevated liver enzymes & hepatic steatosis without being an obese diabetic alcoholic cigarette smoker.

Staffetti ignored the anemia & pancytopenia that I went into the HCA Bayonet Point Hospital l with, as well. No, I had to be a lying drug addict, he figured, despite several drug tests coming back negative for any of that, or hepatitis or HIV.

He also kept taking me off of my Bipolar Disorder medication only to be mad at me when the hospital physicians reordered it again that night, because I couldn't be untreated for a mood disorder that put me in the hospital, again.

Staffetti never mentioned to me that the ultrasound & CT also showed diverticulosis & gallbladder wall thickening at 4mm. He just told me to find a PCP, knowing that I am homeless living in the middle of the woods with epilepsy & serious mental illness, with no transportation, money, job, assets, health coverage, or help from anyone.

He tried to discharge me from the hospital after they all made me sit in there for a week, only to discover that I had adult transient intussusception all of a sudden. But being unable to talk the radiologist into coming into work over the weekend, Staffetti didnt do anything about my new illnesses from Friday through Monday.

STAFFETTI NEVER DID A COLONOSCOPY OR ENDOSCOPY OR ANY TEST AT ALL ON ME TO INVESTIGATE MY ABDOMINAL PAIN & RELATED SYMPTOMS THAT COULD BE CROHN'S DISEASE, CELIAC DISEASE, OR COLORECTAL CANCER. He refused to even do the bare minimum testing, & instead blamed me. As such, I have consulted med-mal attorneys & filed a complaint against him with the FL dept of Health.

Then doctors neglected to put an NPO order in my chart for Monday so I could get a small bowel x-ray series, so they just did another CT abdomen that night. But nobody was around to read it until Tuesday, so once it was determined by another g.i. at the hospital that the intussusception was absent from the subsequent CT, it was then that I finally got to leave, after 10 days of zero treatment for a half dozen problems that were discovered by imaging at Bayonet Point Hospital.

Now a year later, I'm very sick & had to go to the ER at another hospital chain to figure out finally why i have diarrhea & constipation all the time, abdominal pains, & yellow mucus in every stool for weeks, as well as the rare bloody stool. Hemorrhoids & fissures were ruled out, but I never got to see a g.i. so STILL no colonoscopy.

All of the doctors who I recently saw are astonished that Staffetti never gave me a colonoscopy or endoscopy or any other g.i. tests, especially since I started to cry every time any of them poked at my abdomen, it hurt that bad.

Staffetti is a joke of a physician. When I can prove that I have serious illnesses that he should have tested for last summer, I will seeking to hold him accountable in a court of law for his negligence & medical malpractice.

The Dr. and his staff are amazing. My forever love saw the PA... Please forgive me, I can't remember her name, but she knew exactly what was wrong with his stomach, and she knew the fastest way to take care of him. She was very pleasant. WE CERTAINLY WILL STAY WITH THEM.
