When Dr.Ramos was in Turkey Lake, I had virtually no issues since I could see him in person although I did always find his staff a little rude bordering on condescending, but now that the appointments are strictly virtual and his staff is relied on for communications more than ever, I was switched to another doctor who trained under him which was fine, they’re just as good as he is, however his staff is inconsistent with communications regarding payment then they’ll suddenly say you owe hundreds all at once even (though they could simply bill you monthly) and cut off care. So while this isn’t a pill mill, it’s still equally as unprofessional bc of some of the people that send out emails when our mental health is on the line and like another person said, sometimes things just happen. I needed help after coming out of an unexpected hospital stay but was met with an attitude as if I’ve been dodging payments for months when I’m not even sure I owed anything bc if I’m in contact with the office every single month for refills, why wouldn’t anyone have told me up until the very end? Unprofessional.

Dr Ramos is an amazing doctor but his staff is rude, condescending and actually cut me off completely from both speaking to him and seeing him. For people dealing with mental health issues they show a lack of compassion and that has left me without a doctor that had helped me more than any other. Sadly I see in another review I wasn’t the only one treated so badly. At least they got an apology, I got left without a good, caring doctor.

Following this edit is my original review. I would like to amend my review to five stars! The person whom I complained about has absolutely resolved the issue by making a selfless apology. We were able to learn more about their position and mutual understanding reached. It says so much about a person’s and a business’ character when they make a sincere apology as well as go further to help people understand. Nicely done!

Dr. Ramos has been terrific and assisting my stepfather. However, I have a difficulty giving his office five stars in that he has an incredibly condescending lady who answers the phone. Her dealings with our family have been beyond reprehensible. At this time we feel that her behavior needs to be addressed or we will be tempted to take our business elsewhere. I am appalled at the complete disrespect we have been shown by the personnel in the office. She is a great detriment to Dr. Ramos’ reputation.

Dr. Ramos is knowledgeable and caring. He is the first physician who seems to understand what is going on with me, explains it, and help make it better. In my case with TMS instead of medications. He Very nice and approachable.
