Aguilo-Seara was fine but I had to have emergency surgery for a hemorrhage and wasn’t able to make it to one of my procedures and used their texting system to notify that I couldn’t arrive because I had a hemorrhage in my throat and couldn’t talk to call.
They then tried to charge me for missing a visit even though I notified them well in advanced and when I talked to the girl in billing (or whoever it was) she had a huge attitude, lost her temper, and was very unprofessional.
She barked at me “you couldn’t have someone else call?” No you dog, I was in the ER ?

I have been seeing Dr. Seara for almost 7yrs. I am on travel and had food that caused severe IBS symptoms. I am out of my medication and called for a refill and told the receptionist and medical assistant that nothing over the counter is working. I asked Dr. Seara to call in a prescription for me. She told me to go to urgent care. I can’t believe this office would tell a Patient to go to urgent care for severe gas! Wow! Horrible healthcare.

I would not let this man touch my dead mother, not only does he suck his staff is horrifying, I went to him for several tests, by the time he was done ordering he had me up to $6,000 out of pocket, I mentioned I would have to try another doctor to get the cost down, I simply just did not do the test at all .. he sent me to three different places he is incapable of doing the job in one building, I have a bacterial infection but, they will not treat me because I said another doctor's name, my hand to God, they don't belong here, used to be you could get three separate opinions, so if you go to see this guy prepare to pay big time or get dumped on Big Time this will be an absolute hell no to anybody alive they would rather let a 60-year-old woman a severe bacterial infection then treat her because she mentioned another doctor's name sorry dude didn't mean to hurt your witty bitty feelings

I've been a patient for 5 years now and only have good things to say about this doctor. The front desk staff in person are awesome. His medical team along with him are phenomenal.

The only area of improvement is phone call answering by his staff during business hours. Its like every call goes to the answering machine and you will get a call at the end of the day.

I will say that the team is responsive. They see so many patients so I understand getting the phone is the least of the priorities when providing one on one care in the office.

Otherwise bedside manner and making treatment plans tailored to your gastroenterology issues is done on par. I'm hoping he doesn't retire soon. He is a doctor you want for a lifetime.

I had my first appointment with the doctor and he was very timely, which is a plus. But during our visit, he spoke to me in a belittling tone, and mocked me for using probiotics. He’s a true believer that probiotics do not work, it’s a myth. (His exact words) Also, you should not ask friends and family for advice when you’re sick!! I explained to him that when you’re first sick and you’re trying to figure out what’s going on people tend to do that or Google symptoms. When symptoms don’t go away or you can’t figure it out, then you need to see a doctor. He held me to that comment through our entire visit and mocked me continually. Absolutely no bedside manner. This is really aggravating when you’re sick, not feeling well and are hoping for answers. I spent too much time defending myself!! There is no way he’s going to do a colonoscopy on me!

Dr Seara is fine but his support staff leaves a lot to be desired. Left numerous voice mails to schedule procedures - never returned my calls. Finally got hold of a person that answered the phone to schedule and get told that they will call me back by COB... you guessed it, they finally call back 2 weeks later! Plenty of other providers out there that have good staff.

His office does not return calls. This last colonoscopy he did on me he dis not talk to my family member. When I addressed issues to him before the test I got snide answers.i've been going to him for years now I am not happy. Time to find someone else that staff & Dr care about patients

Dr. Agulio Seara is completely passionate about my care. It’s comforting to know that my Dr carries the same concern that I do over my treatment and I am lucky to have stumbled into his office. I highly recommend this dr and thank them for everything they have done to help me live a long and healthy life.
