Stopped by on a Saturday to grab a few sheets of drywall and some other items and was helped by a friendly guy who helped me pick the right brands for a few items (eg I didn't know that expanding foam comes in one time use or multiple days use options). Forklift driver was also super helpful with pulling a few boards out from the back of a stack. Overall, happy with the help and will be returning.

His technical expertise was superb, and he offered high-calibre recommendations. He found answers to issues and developed new ideas.

Very expensive prices! Was there 4:55pm they closed it from inside and were ignoring me when i knocked on the door. They have on the door closing 5pm. Do not recommend!! I will not go there! Never ever !!! Whatever is on Band Q for £7 they sell for £11

Oh my days where do I start. I went to 'Home Build Supplies' this morning and said nicely to the counter assistant good morning we wanted to find out about parts for a product that we had and the black man (he was short, wearing a fisherman cap) was so rude, very unprofessional. This man should not be working front desk where he has to deal with clients, he should be place at the back away from clients, period! This is the outcome when someone clearly hates their job to the point they hate their customers. Without customers business cannot survive especially in these troubling times. This man left an impact on my psyche, if this is the type of service that is governed in this establishment this shouldn't be a place where customers shop.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this place nor would I go back there. This man needs to be taught or retrained in customer service skills or better still leave the job if you hate it so much because there are many people that are looking for jobs and would appreciate both customers and job.

I had to check the reviews to see if anyone else had this type of rudeness and guess what, the reviews from other customers speaks for itself. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

I hope no one else have to endure this level of embarrassment and rudeness.

Went to 'home build supplies' to purchase some supplies today.
The black guy at the front desk was so rude. He definitely should not be working with customers.
I would not recommend this place, I will go some where else to do business where the staff are much more helpful and not rude.

What an absolute shame!
Story behind the subject :
Went to the store today to buy a basin tap. After making my decision to buy one of the tap which was clearly stated £35.99 on the price tag. The assistant brought the product from back and scanned and he has requested me to pay £37.99. After his statement i have told him that the price tag shows 35.99 and he has started lying with saying that it is the price excluding the VAT. After his statement i have believed him and asked him another question about returning the product if it does not fit and he clearly stated that there is no refund for products within this store. In this case, i want everyone to ask themselves before buying anything.
After buying the product before leaving the store i have checked the invoice and realized that the Excluded VAT price does not match the price of £35.99 and i have asked him again, that this is not right and he came to me with a rude manner and asked me to "if you like to return, i can". As i had to buy the product hence why, did not and carried on.

If you dont have to do not let them use you as i am not worried about few £ but the manners and professionalism. In simple words, they have made me feel bad and also degraded me as a customer by lying to me.
