I wish there were an option to give negative stars, as this experience truly deserves it. I ordered a refrigerator from RONA Preston Ave, Saskatoon, and was initially assured delivery within a week. However, on the day of delivery—at 8:30 PM, no less—I received a call informing me that delivery would be delayed by another 5 days. I had already taken a day off work to accommodate this delivery.

To make matters worse, the second delivery date was also rescheduled, with no clear timeline for when I could expect my refrigerator. Each time I called the store for clarification, I was provided vague explanations about third-party logistics. This is unacceptable, as I paid the full price to RONA, not a third party.

With Christmas approaching, I am left frustrated and unsure whether to cancel my order altogether. I have been patient, but this experience has been unnecessarily stressful and unprofessional. As of now, I am still waiting for a confirmed delivery date.

I strongly recommend avoiding purchasing appliances from this store. RONA needs to take accountability for its commitments and prioritize customer satisfaction.

I was looking for a specific sand for my aquarium and saw this location was the only Home & Garden store in the city that had it in stock. I asked someone from the Seasonals department if they could help verify the product is still there. A lady named Barbara picked up and told me the last bag they had left was in their warehouse. Despite this revelation, she went above and beyond to get it sent to their store in just an hour after my call! I was genuinely surprised! I thank her for all her efforts and excellent customer service!

The way the online part of Rona and in-store part is organized is confusing.

I've ordered products online for pickup in store a few times here because they have pretty good prices. I have run into issues every time I tried to pick up my item.

One issue was that I called and waited in the parking lot for them to bring my item for 30 minutes. It took a bit to get a hold of someone on the phone and then it took way too long for someone to bring out my item.

Another issue was when I went into the store to pick up an online order. I went to the pickup counter which is all the way at the end of the store and there was no one there. There was a note saying to go to customer service. So I walked across the store to customer service and they told me to go to the online pickup counter which is where I came from. They said it was bad timing and that someone should be there now. This was so much walking for just trying to pick up a package.

The third issue was when I went in store to pickup an online order. It was heavy so they helped wheel it out to my car. Once we got to my car I double checked that it was the right model. It turns out they grabbed the wrong model and were about to give me a snowblower that was way cheaper than the one I ordered. They had to bring the wrong item back and bring out the right one which took another 15 minutes.

The last issue I ran into was I saw a great deal on a ladder online and went in store to pick it up. I noticed it was quite a bit more expensive in store. So I asked the staff why and if I could get it for the online price. They said they can't do that and I need to order it online for pickup. I find that so weird since to me Rona online and Rona insm store seem like the same company to me. Why do I have to go through all this hassle?

So I suggest you be careful if ordering online for in store pickup. Their staff seem to be inexperienced, so you'll have to do some work to make sure you get the right thing.

Bought an Ego snowblower in November and it broke in January. Spoke to Warren the “store manager” who was unwilling to help and referred me to Ego customer service. Will be without a snowblower for the rest of winter. Rona and Ego are both terrible and Rona’s warranties conflict with federal consumer protection laws. Avoid at all costs!!

Needed a garden item. Garden center requires employee assistance at this time of year. Would have been 5 stars however one of the employees at customer service sure did not go out of her way to call someone as it was 10 minutes before personnel from the garden center were starting work. Luckily the other person working at Customer Service reacted quickly and called someone from the floor that was extremely helpful and courteous. With the lack of assistance from the first employee I probably would have left and made my purchase elsewhere.

I had some issues with my cupboard doors. After talking to the staff, the manager and assistant manager driveto my house (over an hour one way) to inspect the issue. The next week their installers came and fixed the problems. Outstanding customer service !

Sunday November 10/2024 at 10: 00 am. We've been shopping at Rona for years and always had long wait times for returns without receipts. Today, however was without a doubt the most ridiculous encounter we have ever had. Tried to return a bag of Mapei thinset. Waited for 20 minutes for the assistant manager ( a grumpy old woman) she asked how long ago.we purchased it. I said I don't know. She refused to take it back so I asked for her boss. He comes up to me and doesn't say a word. Then shrugs his shoulders and continues to look at me without saying a word. I overlooked the insult and said I want to return the mortar. He asks when we bought it and I said I don't know. He refused to take it back. When I mentioned that Home Depot's returns without receipts is a simple scan he agrees to scan it. It shows up in their system verifying that it was their product. He still refused to take I back. We left the store quite disappointed. Both the assistant manager and manager treated us like criminals. We won't be shopping there again.

today ,while hauling a bag of the wood chips, I was told I hadnt paid even though I had the receipt in my hand. NEXT time, I guess I'll just return the item and get my cash back instead of having this happen...It wouldnt have been too bad if the lady would have said, sorry, I made a mistake (which can happen because we are human)My mistake is that I should have returned said item and gone elsewhere..sadly it WAS one of the last stops in the city...BUYER BEWARE
