I stopped in to pick up a few items but when I tried to check out the reader wouldn’t recognize my chip card. My card has a low tap limit and can’t run larger purchases as tap. The staff was quite unhelpful and even rude. The only saving grace was the great Lebanese restaurant next door. I have heard rumors about the poor customer service at Steveston Marine. Now I know why. I just paid my meal with the same card and it always works fine at KMS tools so I will go there next to pick up the stuff I was intending to buy here. If you value your time and peace of mind please save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

We had a fantastic visit! Canadian tire wouldn’t put a line on my kids fishing rod so I called over to this awesome shop where I used to come with my dad and the gentleman and his son or coworker were amazing. They put the line on the rod for my kid. They chatted with us about the upcoming fishing season and they motivated my son to keep fishing. Yes the store is a little bit un- organized but I don’t know a lot of fisherman going for their equipment in the middle of langley … But guaranteed if you’re in a bind, they have what you need! I recommend this store for anybody who needs a hand 🙂 they were definitely more Canadian than Canadian tire 😂👌🤍

This was the last time I will go to this store. The staff are next to useless and rude. I was wandering around the unorganized store, searching for an item that was on sale in their flyer. The man at the cashier was in a conversation with a coworker, I didn’t want to interrupt. After standing in front of him for a bit and not being acknowledged, I said excuse me and asked if they had the item that I was looking for. He just blankly stared at me and shook his head. I then asked if they were going to be getting new stock soon or if another store had what I was looking for. And again not even a grunt. Just looked at me and shrugged and continued to converse with the coworker. I will go to cabelas or Amazon from now on.

I’m not sure what happened to Steveston Marine Langley. I’ve been coming here for years and it used to be full of helpful staff. Now the two older gentlemen who sit in the middle island area just treat you like you’re a problem. Ask for something and the guys can’t get off their computers or phones for 15 seconds to help you out or show you some options.

You pay extra to shop here because it’s supposed to be the place for expert advice - you can get most of the same stuff on Amazon or at Home Depot, so the competitive advantage of knowledge is lost on the guys working there.

Sad really, I’ll just get my work supplies somewhere else.

The first time I went and bought paint, they acted like it was a pain to help me. Second time, they ignored me completely and the two employee's complained about another co-worker for the entire 15 minutes I was in the store. I will definitely be going out of my way to avoid shopping here in the future.

Easy parking, well stocked store that had exactly what I needed. Friendly staff, easy to checkout. Everything was really great.

Great store if you go there in person. They have great selection and knowledgeable staff. Online is simply a gamble, you may get your item, you may have to track it down. Even if you order it to be sent to the store it will likely not arrive or they won't let you know its arrived. Order online at your own peril. I like to buy local when possible, they make it difficult unless I have the time to drive an hour to their store.

This store is in dire need of new management. The staff are either rude or have no product knowledge, or both.
They are miserable when you ask questions and give misinformation over the phone and attitude in person. I have been here several times and have always left disappointed. I'll drive into poco or way into richmond to avoid coming here from now on
