I have Chiari Type 1 Malformation. I have had a craniotomy with duraplast, they had to place a shunt and retrieve a significant amount of spinal fluid from my brain. This was done in Tyler Tx by a Harvard neurosurgeon in May of 2022. It changed my life.
I went in to Dr. Chin to attempt to find a neurologist as I have moved and needed to have a follow up. He decided he wouldn’t do a follow up scan and almost discredited my neurosurgeon saying he wouldn’t have operated on me. That surgery changed and saved my life. He disregarded all my concerns and only tried to push pharmaceuticals on me for headaches.

Went in with classic symptoms of temporal arteritis, blurted vision, jaw pain, scalp tenderness, temporal knots and headaches. Said I wasn’t old enough and blood work didn’t show high enough inflammation. Did MRI but would not refer me to vascular surgeon for biopsy. Second review of MRI by another dr showed vascular trauma. Said he would be laughed at to refer me because I was too young. Would not do anymore tests. A few weeks later thankfully I was treated properly by a doctor that did temporal biopsy which was positive for temporal arteritis. Had I listened to him I would have surly lost my vision. I expected better from a Dr with his experience. Didn’t listen. Discounted my symptoms. Highly recommend to avoid this Dr.

Dr. Chennu and her Nurse Practitioner are great medically - personable, knowledgeable and otherwise great; that's the most important part of a medical facility.
However the administrative staff is very sub-standard and not up minimum expectations for a professional organization. They lost referral document from my primary care physician several times; additionally they lost track of x-rays that were sent to them multiple times in spite of verbal confirmation of receipt by phone several times.

I have been seeing Dr Chin for 19 years and he has been the most amazing Dr I could have ever seen. He treated me when I had guellin Barre and also diagnosed my MS and have treated me for all these years for it. Love this Dr and would recommend him to any one.

I have visited him over the years on different occasions. Love his bedside manner. He takes the time to talk to his patients and treats them like human beings & tries to get to the bottom of what is happening. He is genuine & has a heart of gold!!

They had no problem charging me $230 for an appointment, now I can't get them on the phone. Worst costumer service I've ever had.
