Staff friendly but can only fix your plant if they can order parts for it. So you may need to go somewhere else to get your plant fixed as they don’t carry bits and bobs to fix older or non branded plant. I had my chain saw in to get a bit of fuel line replaced and was told they would even look at it because they couldn’t identify. I spent 2 mins on line found my saw still for sale online and ordered part my self. disappointed experience

The service I have received this year from Raymond and Big Chris has been exceptional.

After setting up my garden maintenance business at the start of the year I won't go anywhere else.

The guys knowledge and expertise has been 1st class and I look forward to having more dealings with them in the future.

DIAGNOSIS OVER THE PHONE!!!

Found this firm on Google and checked the reviews. There were some saying that Tool and Plant Services ripped people off so was just a bit nervous as to whether the many 5* reviews were maybe a thing of the past.
Well. I couldn’t be more pleased. I thought I might have put the wrong fuel in my Husquavarna lawnmower as it was spootering grey smoke straight after filling it from a can marked’ petrol’ but which I suspected could maybe have been diesel. YouTube said to empty the fuel by turning the machine on its side, which I did carefully into a basin. Then I put definite petrol in but the mower would barely start at all. So now I was panicking- had I wrecked the engine? So I phoned Raymond and he diagnosed the problem over the phone!! He said to remove the spark plug and turn the engine over a few times. I did what he said and eventually, spark plug back in, I got it started but now it was spluttering great lumps of white smoke like it was going to go on fire. Again I phoned Raymond at Tool and Plant Services who were so busy they were 2 weeks behind. Again Raymond took the time to talk me through what to do- run the machine till the white smoke disappears- it’s just oil in the .. which needed clearing. I did that and managed to cut the rest of my grass. Thankyou Raymond! You are a star! You will be my go-to man in future!! I’ll be in for a service as soon as possible and I don’t expect to get ripped off despite the reviews to that effect!!

Had original wooden flooring in an old flat to sand down ready for varnishing. Powerful floor sander hired from the guys at Tool & Plant Services did the job in no time. Great friendly service from very knowledgeable staff - a throwback to the days when customer care was everything. Highly recommend.

These guys are brilliant. I had a strimmer breakdown, mid job, so drove along to see if I could have the spark plug changed. Turned out it was a flooded engine, not the spark plug as I thought. Fixed in about 5 mins.
The staff are always really helpful, and they're very knowledgeable too. Great service. Definitely recommend 👌
